In this subject students will explore the background to, and a context for, current debates that centre on photography/post-photography and their development and relationship to other movements in art and society. Students will also develop an understanding of the principles and theories of digital imaging and manipulation and gain experience in the operation of software used in the digital image manipulation process. Students will learn how to access and utilise current information and resources related to digital media and production using a variety of communication media, and will also learn to manage and structure their digital imaging output for online, and other, applications.
