Credit points: 03
Year: 2013
Student Contribution Band: Band 3
Administered by: School of Business

Strategy and Leadership is an advanced introduction to the fundamental issues, emerging challenges and implications of strategy and leadership in organisations. This subject is positioned in the inner core of the MBA. As such, it plays a key role in underpinning a number of important areas including human resources, marketing, tourism and entrepreneurship. Successful leaders must have the ability to anticipate and envision. They also need the capacity to communicate, initiate change, set objectives and work with others to implement strategically aligned aims and objectives. This subject integrates these areas to study the development of strategy and leadership in contemporary organisations.
