Students will study a particular genre with a Master writer. Literary techniques and approaches to language will be taught such as how to use metaphor effectively; how to employ better dialogue; how to improve descriptive writing of place. Structural advice on the flexibility of form and plot may also be studied within the chosen genre.

- he capacity to apply sophisticated writerly techniques to explore a particular genre.
