The special studies unit is designed as a flexible unit for a student to submit a minor dissertation, major report, compilation of papers or other research and/or minerals industry training-related outputs for consideration for credit within the overall course.
Learning Outcomes
- an in-depth understanding of a geological problem;
- application of a technique or techniques of geological analysis.
