Available to level 4 honours students in the degrees listed above. Except with the approval of Head of School/Associate Dean, all subjects in a chain must be studied in the consecutive teaching periods.
Candidates may enrol to commence study at the beginning of either Teaching Period 1 or 2. The subject includes: a thesis involving original research work; additional studies in the school and/or a specialised program of studies.
Learning Outcomes
- improved skills in verbal and written communication, data analysis, literature survey and presentation;
- experience of the processes and procedures required to undertake a successful independent research project in Earth and Environmental Science.
