Available to postgraduate students enrolled in the School of Marine and Tropical Biology.

This subject constitutes a short research project of 9-11 weeks duration full-time or part-time pro rata equivalent. In consultation with the Course Coordinator and an appropriate supervisor, the candidate will design a project and prepare a research proposal. Candidates will then undertake appropriate field or laboratory work, analyse the results, prepare a report in the form of a scientific paper and will present the results to other students and staff in a seminar of about 20-30 minutes duration.
