Available to students enrolled in the Graduate Diploma of Research Methods, Master of Applied Science, Graduate Diploma, Graduate Certificate of Science, Graduate Certificate of Development Practice, Graduate Diploma of Development Practice, Master of Science or Masters of Development Practice.

A graduate-level approach to experimental and survey design and analysis. Topics include the principles of ecological and biological sampling design; hypothesis generation for ecological and biological experiments; collection of biological and ecological data; manipulations and interpretation of biological and ecological data; statistical methods used in biology and ecology; and the production of biological and ecological reports. Students will be required to attend BZ2001 lectures and tutorials.
