This subject will explore the role of government in the development and control of tourism. It examines relationships within and between different levels of government and between government and private enterprise. In particular the subject will analyse the effects of government policy on regional tourism development and planning.
Learning Outcomes
- develop and understanding of the role of government policy and regulation in tourism development;
- learn the process involved in preparing regional development proposals;
- analyse the effects of government policy on regional tourism development and planning.
