This subject addresses project management from a management perspective. The subject deals with the basic nature of managing projects, the advantages and disadvantages of project management, and covers the problems of selecting projects, initiating them, operating and controlling them. The subject discusses the demands made on project managers and the nature of manager's interaction with stakeholders and the ethical issues faced by project managers. Further, the subject covers the issues associated with planning a project utilising project software tools and terminating a project.
