Students are taught a range of skills in the visual arts area of printmaking. Emphasis is on the exploration of traditional and contemporary approaches to visual arts expression through a series of intensive workshops in a specialist printmaking studio. Print techniques appropriate to visual arts practice are demonstrated to facilitate production of professional prints and editions for contemporary creative arts. Professional standards of presentation are expected as an outcome of the learning process.

  • 39 hours practicals - 39 hrs Practicals (Formal practicals are held at Djumbunji press. An additional 26 hours of workshop time is available to students.)
    Assessment:series of practical tasks completed in the printmaking studio.
    Special Assessment Requirements:This subject is assessed as pass/fail only. Students must satisfactorily complete all required practical tasks in class to achieve a passing grade.
    Restrictions: An enrolment quota applies to this offering.
