This subject covers the aetiology, diagnosis, management and prevention of common tropical diseases with special reference to Australasia and Southeast Asia, including helminthic, protozoan, rickettsial, bacterial, viral and other diseases. It includes lectures and demonstrations of some common tropical parasites and conditions. Anaemia, heat illness and other selected topics, are presented in lectures. Immunisation is also presented.
