Available to students who have been awarded a degree in Speech Pathology or its equivalent, are eligible for membership of Speech Pathology Australia, are registered with the Speech Pathologists Board of Queensland, and have approval of the Head of School.

This subject is the first of two subjects (the other being SL4502) that constitute the Bachelor of Speech Pathology Honours (graduate entry) in the Discipline of Speech Pathology, when studied full time. Students in this subject will commence a research project on a topic to be agreed between the student and the Honours Coordinator (Speech Pathology), carried out under the supervision of a supervisor from within the Discipline of Speech Pathology.
