PS2005 - Physiotherapy Applications Across the Lifespan

Enrolment is restricted to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Physiotherapy who have successfully completed BM1041, PS1001, RH1002, RH1004, BM1042, HS1003, PS1002 and PS2004.

This subject is designed to enable students to assess clients, and develop and implement physiotherapy intervention strategies for common conditions encountered across the lifespan. Modules included in this subject include normal development across the lifespan, paediatrics, men's and women's health, health in the workplace and gerontology.

Assessment:end of semester exam (60%); presentations (20%); assignments (20%).
Special Assessment Requirements:Students are required pass the end of semester examination in order to pass the subject. Students are required to complete organised clinical placement, maintain a logbook and portfolio that describes their clinical experience in order to pass this subject.
