In this subject students will build on knowledge gained in Transitions into Nursing 1. They will continue to learn about pathophysiological processes which may affect patients throughout their lifespan. Related medical-surgical nursing skills and professional development will be addressed. Problem-solving skills are emphasised so that students can appropriately, systematically and expeditiously assess a client's functional health status and assist the client to meet his/her functional health care needs.
