Students will develop a firm foundation of knowledge and skills in intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal care. Students rehearse practical skills within a safe laboratory setting fostering a level of skill competence applicable in different environments. Students are provided with opportunities for decision-making and information-sharing essential to midwifery care of healthy women and newborns from varying cultures and belief systems.
