This subject provides opportunities for students to deepen their discipline knowledge and capacity for creativity by reflecting in a considered way on the processes of imagining, making, innovating, exhibiting and/or performing. Students will focus on developing and refining their ideas and testing new processes to enhance their creative practice and potential for a career in the creative industries. As well as the requirement to refine and produce new creative work, students will be provided with opportunities to reflect on their outputs over time and to consider ethical, environmental, social and other issues of relevance to them as a reflective creative practitioner.
Learning Outcomes
- an increasingly developed folio of creative work;
- the capacity to undertake considered and meaningful reflection as applied to creative practice and contexts;
- the ability to use written text as a vehicle for capturing and defining the artistic process.
