An introduction to Digital Video techniques. This subject provides a focus on skills, knowledge and theory for the development of intermediary Digital Video applications. Through the integration of camera techniques and video editing software students gain practical experience with the medium. The subject will combine work on the conceptual, aesthetic and technical elements underlaying Digital Video production exploring the ways in which the medium is a result of converging contemporary media while marking out new creative territories. This subject will be presented through lectures and practical sessions.
