Available to level 4 Medical Laboratory Science Honours students.
Candidates will carry out independent research investigation on a topic determined and proposed in level 3. The subject encompasses data collection and dissertation writing. The defence of the investigation will be conducted at a mutually agreed time during level 4.
Learning Outcomes
- complete research investigation;
- prepare a dissertation on the topic;
- understand aspects of experimental design, planning costing, execution and data interpretation;
- understand conventions in scientific writing and data presentation.
