Available to any experienced medical practitioner currently working in a rural or remote location.
This subject allows rural medical practitioners to select a clinical topic of relevance to their current practice in a rural or remote context, to critically review the relevant scientific literature and to prepare a dissertation on that topic.
Learning Outcomes
- ability to conduct a systematic review of the relevant clinical literature relevant to the selected topic;
- ability to write a dissertation in the form of a scientific paper intended for submission for publication. The paper will include a review of the literature, methodology, results and statistical analyses and will be fully referenced.
