This subject continues the study of integrated medical and social sciences for the whole human body. The emphasis of this subject is on integrating clinical pathology knowledge, with an approach to obtaining and interpreting clinical information from patients. On completion of year 4 the student will be expected to be able to take relevant and focused histories from patients, examine patients, and seek relevant clinical investigations. The student will be expected to interpret and integrate this information with their knowledge of pathological processes.

Special Assessment Requirements:Satisfactory attendance is required at community and clinical placements.. Satisfactory completion and professional documentation is required of all Clinical Attachments and Assessments throughout the year. Satisfactory academic and professional standards, as determined by the academic coordinator, must be achieved in order to progress to the next year.
