Students who have a SA in Senior Japanese are not permitted to enrol in this subject.
This subject introduces the syllabary writing system of katakana, and continues building elementary level communicative skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Learning Outcomes
- to equip students with the skills necessary to discuss locations: where things are and how they are placed; describe qualities such as big, small, etc.; talk about likes and dislikes; discuss routine daily activities; make requests, offer assistance and extend invitations, and communicate successfully in reading and writing on the above topics.
