Available to all students who have passed GR1001 or who have an equivalent knowledge of German.
General German language appropriate to the objectives outlined below.
Learning Outcomes
- to take students to a level of minimum creative proficiency (approximately 1- on the ISLPR scale);
- to write and talk about leisure pursuits and past and future activities;
- to perform tasks such as discussing their health, accommodation, and the cultures of German-speaking societies;
- to read simplified authentic texts.

Assessment: | end of semester exam (40%); quizzes or tests (10%); assignments (45%); workbook (5%). |
Special Assessment Requirements: | Completion of fortnightly homework assignments is a compulsory requirement of the subject. Students must pass the examination in order to pass the subject. |
