System Modelling: Linear, non-linear, time invariant, regulator and servomechanisms. Modelling system dynamics by transfer functions, block diagrams, root locus, Bode and Nyquist plots.System Response: Transient response of second order systems. Steady state response, steady state errors, frequency response.Stability: simple stability tests, Routh Hurwitz, root locus, Bode and Nyquist.Controller Design: Performance specification, PID, lead and lag compensators.
Learning Outcomes
