Preservice teachers will investigate a range of curriculum theories and develop models of integrated curriculum that support play based learning. The subject will draw upon early years contexts to explore the relationship between theory, policy and practice. Preservice teachers will critically examine early years assessment and reporting practices and relate these to the broader role of schooling in communities.
