Core subject for all teacher education students. LIMITED offering available only to RATEP students. EXTERNAL OFFERING available only to ECE ONLINE students and to students enrolled in the BEd Professional Development.

Through the study of this subject you will be examining a range of special needs that you might encounter in students who attend your classes. You will be given guidance to help you make accommodations and modification to the curriculum and the learning environment in order to meet the learning requirements of students with special needs. In addition, you will be introduced to national and international policies guiding the inclusion of students with special needs into mainstream classrooms.
