Learning Outcomes
- develop an understanding of molecular processes involved in natural product chemistry and biochemistry;
- survey of molecular techniques appropriate to working with natural products and biochemicals, with practical experience in the use of these methods;
- to provide a general framework on the aspects of chemistry/ biochemistry that are important in the biological sciences.

Assessment: | end of semester exam (35% - 55%); quizzes or tests (25% - 45%); essays (5% - 15%); marks for practical exercises (15% - 25%). |
