An in depth study of management accounting techniques and concepts; control and performance evaluation in decentralised organisations; relevant cost analysis models; pricing decisions and accounting information; performance measurement and the balanced scorecard; sustainability related issues.
Learning Outcomes
- understand the nature of management accounting systems useful for planning and control purposes;
- develop skills to assist managerial decision making in the areas such as pricing, strategy, sustainability and performance measurement;
