Available to graduate students with a degree in Veterinary Science (other appropriately trained graduates may enrol at the discretion of the Director of the Australian Institute of Tropical Veterinary and Animal Science).

Discussion groups and assignments will cover the aetiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis and control of bacterial, viral and infectious diseases of animals. The subject will emphasise the epidemiological approach to the diagnosis and control of infectious diseases of livestock and is complementary to Tv5010 and Tv5040.
