The subject aims: to provide an academic award in infection control that is responsive to learning needs, national accreditation requirements and requirements of employers; to educate health professionals about infection control in a range of health care settings particularly where resources are limited. Focus will be on infection control in rural and remote settings in Australia and in developing countries.
