This subject addresses how to investigate and research social science issues through surveys, including the gathering of qualitative and quantitative information. A variety of sampling techniques, computer aided analysis and presentation of research findings is also covered.
Learning Outcomes
- develop a range of skills relating to survey methodology, promote critical understanding and enhance presentation of analyses in written and oral forms;
- increase capabilities to work together in a team;
- obtain hands-on experience in carrying out a social science survey;
- understand and engage in the main components of conducting a social science survey.
