Available to students admitted to the Doctor of Psychology program.
This subject is the second of two for the practical placement for the clinical strand for the Doctor of Psychology course. The placement provides students the opportunity to refine and develop their skills in association with a skilled field supervisor. The subject also includes attendance at clinic and professional seminars.
Learning Outcomes
- exposure to different approaches to problems, therapy and work environments to aid professional development and adaptability to future work situations;
- work in a variety of practical settings to develop applied clinical skills and work practices and become familiar with with professional networks within which psychologists are required to operate.
