This subject has been written to meet the needs of endorsed midwives and postgraduate students of midwifery. The subject focuses on the delivery of advanced midwifery care to the birthing family. Issues such as the delivery of rural and remote midwifery care and Indigenous midwifery care will be explored in depth. The learning experience will be directed via readings, activities, critical thinking exercises and case studies.
