This subject involves the study of contemporary practice in the field of digital imaging, through research and practice. The subject is intended to enhance students' understanding of the context of their image making. Students will largely undertake self-directed research projects investigating industry and/or cultural aspects of photo media with an emphasis on the development of their individual approach and aesthetic and translation of such investigations into practice. The essential goal is concept, to idea, to realisation via representation.
