This subject involves investigations of a range of immersive and interactive imaging options. These include: a rationale for the interactive panoramic image and its application as a web based technology for the tourism, environmental, advertising and education industries. Virtual tours will also be investigated. Students will work in groups and also pursue individual projects.
Learning Outcomes
- established ability to make and format immersive imaging content for various multi media and internet applications;
- established understanding of the ability of immersive imaging to extend the interactivity of various types of digital experience;
- established ability to conceive, ideate, design, capture and process interactive panoramas and virtual tours;
- established experience of working in groups on complex projects.
