This subject is based on the student developing a personal portfolio of work in an electronic form that emphasises sculptural and spatial principles of installation and dynamic display. The visual material employed is to be generated by students set against integrative experiences in other units including Digital Imaging and Digital Design.
Learning Outcomes
- proficiency in all aspects of the design process and ability to test ideas through art production;
- demonstrated skills suitable for 2D/3D application in the production of book art or similar medium;
- production, backup/storage/retrieval and presentation techniques;
- understanding of spatial issues related to visual arts and illustration in the area of new media and sculpture theory.
