An examination of the important aesthetic and production issues underpinning the use of typography in still and dynamic media will be explored in this subject. An array of advanced software applications will be employed to visualise information using text. Students will explore space relationships with text, colour and shape in a variety of output formats including Flash and Digital Video. The subject will culminate in a team based project which will utilise the theoretical constructs of typographic design studied during the semester.
