This subject explores the development of the arts as a discipline from early practices to those that feature in society today. Disciplines to be explored include the visual arts, music and sound, photography, design, video and film and performance art. Students will develop an understanding of the theory and language of these key areas of the arts, including key historical influences, big bang moments and new directions.
