Learning Outcomes
- to grasp elements of French culture through the reading programme;
- to write with increasing fluency on diverse topics using basic academic French;
- to begin to be able to write in different French styles, in particular journalistic French;
- to read authentic materials from the French press with sensitivity to tone;
- to read a French novel from the early twentieth century with sensitivity to the time it was written.
