Students read a selection of some of the most interesting and influential works of Australian writing published in recent decades. The subject examines innovation and experimentation in such genres as the novel, short story, poetry, autobiography and biography, travel writing and other forms of non-fiction, as well as the blurring of boundaries between these categories.
