Available to Information Technology postgraduate students.
This subject covers methods for delivering services over the web, including database access, secure connections and defence against exploits and attacks, various application interfaces and access control. These topics are integrated into a web services project.
Learning Outcomes
- design and implement a database service over the web;
- advance understanding of levels of service over the web;
- advance understanding of security issues concerning web services and knowledge of defences against attacks;
- facility with programming languages used to provide web services.
