This subject is an introduction to the concepts and technologies of computer graphics, computer animation and computer visualisation. It explores aspects of computer games and computer simulations. Topics covered include interactive 2D/3D graphics, animation, modelling, visualisation, and geometric transformations.
Learning Outcomes
- Practical experience and skills using a modern graphics and animation software tool with emphasis on creating components for game development and simulation;
- Apply appropriate rendering and lighting techniques;
- To create a fully deployable avatar for games;
- Apply physics and dynamics to models within scenes to create an animation production.
