This subject focuses on designing and developing effective web sites, and includes coverage of web design principles, markup and style languages, programming and databases for the web, graphics and multimedia, effective web interfaces, usability and accessibility issues, using contemporary multimedia development tools.
Learning Outcomes
- understand and be able to implement best practices in modern web design;
- understand multimedia web development using contemporary development tools;
- understand the issues in designing effective interactive web sites;
- be able to effectively use markup, style and programming languages to develop web sites.
