This subject focuses on the provision and use of management accounting and other information for strategic planning and decision making and performance management in organisations.
Learning Outcomes
- Analyse management accounting information in a wide range of decision contexts in both service and manufacturing industries;
- Explain the behavioural implications of performance measurement systems;
- Apply financial and non-financial performance measurement techniques that enable managers to measure strategic performance;
- Apply management accounting techniques for managing customers, suppliers, quality and sustainability;
- Apply critical thinking and problem solving skills to individual and/or group activities dealing with performance measurement issues.
