This subject introduces students to basic mathematical concepts that are applied to real life situations such as earnings and spending, and to academic situations such as statistical analysis. Topics include operations, percentages, measurement, simple and compound interest, graphs, income, budget, and measures of central tendency. The delivery of the subject focuses on using these mathematical concepts and techniques to solve real problems. Please note only those students based on Thursday Island can enroll in Limited Mode.
