Available to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Dental Surgery.

This subject builds on the content introduced in BM1071 Anatomy and Physiology for Dentists 1. This subject will comprise a detailed study of the gross anatomy of the head and neck. Students will also study the anatomy and physiology of the nervous system, with particular emphasis on the control of muscles, speech, language and hearing. Students will be given the opportunity to develop an integrated understanding of the human body through practical sessions, including the study of human cadaveric material, and functional and clinical case-studies to facilitate the integration of material and the correlation to practice.
