This subject builds on the principles introduced in BM1041 Anatomy and Physiology for Physiotherapy 1. This subject will comprise a detailed study of the gross anatomy of the lower limb, trunk, head and neck. Physiological processes and anatomical structure will be studied for the gastrointestinal, renal, reproductive systems and endocrinology as relevant to rehabilitation sciences. The emphasis will be on gaining an integrated understanding of the human body through practical sessions, including the study of human cadaveric material, and functional and clinical case-studies to facilitate the integration of material and the correlation.
