This subject is specifically designed for students who need fundamental drawing skills. Students studying biological, earth or medical sciences, anthropology, archaeology, tourism, communications, or any student who needs to pictorially record a subject, will find this subject useful.
Learning Outcomes
- to demonstrate understanding of spatial intervals and the principles of linear and aerial perspective;
- to demonstrate understanding of the principles underlying shadows and reflections;
- to explore and to be competent in using a range of drawing mediums;
- to understand and to be competent in applying the conventions of composition;
- to acquire skills in sight-size measuring of proportions, and in tonal rendering.
