This subject will provide students with an opportunity to further integrate their learning gained from previous theoretical subjects. The focus of this subject will be on the student developing a higher level of professional skills and competencies, and further advancing their reasoning skills and reflective practices through the integration of practical and course components. As part of this subject, students will complete a minimum of 152 hours (4 weeks at 38 hrs) of advanced supervised fieldwork placements with flexible support from the university. The placement will enable the student to apply, develop, analyse and integrate the theories, principles and practice of public health in a variety of settings. The placement may not be undertaken as part of the student's routine paid employment activities.
