Available, at the discretion of the Head of College, to all students with a BT or equivalent qualification undertaking the BT Honours (Research) degree. Except with the approval of the Head of School/Associatge Dean, all subjects in a chain must be studied in consecutive teaching periods.
Students will write a research thesis of at least 10,000 words demonstrating a thorough knowledge of the relative literature, skills of analysis and synthesis.
Learning Outcomes

- develop a critical appraisal and evaluation of current research in theatre;
- develop the technical and aesthetic aspects of performance or production;
- further abilities in working as an independent researcher and practitioner by following an individual program of research.
