The main objectives of the honours programme in Sport and Exercise Science are to facilitate the development of the student's abilities in a particular sport and exercise science field and to provide a basis for further postgraduate research studies.
Learning Outcomes
- Demonstrate an understanding of the design, conduct and evaluation of independent research;
- Demonstrate skills in information retrieval and critical analysis of published scientific material used in the field of sport and exercise science;
- Demonstrate the skills required for independent study and research in one specific discipline of sport and exercise science;
- Demonstrate individual written and oral presentation skills for effective communication to a range of audiences.

- The ability to think critically, to analyse and evaluate claims, evidence and arguments, and to reason and deploy evidence clearly and logically;
